Legislation introduced in April 2009 called for all local authorities to involve local people in decisions that affect them. Six to twelve months on, this event set out to explore what effect this mandate has had on local authoritites and the people they serve. A fantastic quick guide to this legislation can be found on Urban Forum's website, click here. Panel Members were: Andy Roberts, Managing Director of Architecture, Space Group David Slater, Executive Director of Environment & Regeneration Newcastle City Council Neil Murphy, Director, Urban & Regional Development, Beyond Green A Glass-House event in partnership with Northern Architecture.
