Northern Architecture can provide support for housing providers wanting to achieve higher standards of design quality and sustainability. We can also help you work with tenants to build skills and identify opportunities for improvements that would make a significant difference to residents' quality of life. We are keen to work with you to support tenants to deliver their own design and improvement projects such as a community garden or lighting scheme.
Please contact Carol on 0191 260 2191 or carol@northernarchitecture.com
Resident or tenant groups wishing to become involved with the design, improvement or management of their housing or communal and outside spaces can contact us for support. We can help you develop your ideas, involve other residents and seek funding and support from the relevant authorities or housing association.
Northern Architecture continues to seek opportunities to work with residents and communities wishing to engage in the places and spaces around them. In partnership we can work with you to seek funding to develop and deliver projects to enable and inspire residents and communities to get involved and take part in the process of design and development in your neighbourhoods. We can also provide training and support for groups to work with the local authority, planners, designers and developers working on schemes in your area.
Visit our communities section to find out more.
There are a range of opportunities for young people to find out more about Architecture and the Built Environment through our Education and Community programmes and the North East Festival of Architecture.
