The Byker Lives project is about collating and celebrating the architectural and community heritage of the Byker Estate in Newcastle.

PROJECT SUMMARY

Northern Architecture is running a 6 month intergenerational engagement project in Scotswood with funding from the Make Your Mark programme from Newcastle City Council. Through workshops and activities, young people and older residents are working together and separately to discuss, explore and make changes to the outside spaces around the few remaining community buildings.
